Mark has been involved in theater for as long as he can remember. From high school plays to community theater, he involved himself in every aspect of production with a desire to continually hone his craft. Later on, while devoting time to raising his family he realized that acting was his true passion and began pursuing avenues of training.

During that period, he studied commercials with Nick Dana of the Actors Training Studio. He received training for Scene Study Technique under Deborah Baer Moses at the Walnut Street Theater and Audition Technique with Diane Heery of Heery Casting. After seeing the last child in his brood graduate, Mark began his pursuit and landed his first professional role as Giles Corey in the Ritz Theater Company production of “The Crucible.“ That was followed by a run in the musical “1776”, also for the Ritz. Since that time, he has branched into more work for film and TV lending his talents in commercials and industrials. Mark recently created the role of Samuel Stoltzfus in an original play “Amish Love and Forgiveness” performed at the Walters Theater in Ontario Canada.
